Account & Subscriptions
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Account access, client installation and subscription import are separate steps; check that each one is complete.
What do I need to create an account, and how do I get my subscription?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, and keep your login details safe. After signing in to the user panel, check your account status and choose a plan that suits your needs. You must be signed in to get your subscription; a URL from a promotional page cannot be used as a subscription link. Once you have it, import it through the subscription or configuration management section of your client, then check that your route list appears. Your password and subscription link are sensitive information. Never post them in public discussions, and hide them in screenshots when asking for help. If the expected subscription is missing after you sign in, first make sure you are using the account associated with the order, then contact support through a ticket.
How do I update my subscription link, and what if my route list hasn’t changed?
You must be signed in to get your subscription. Open the subscription or configuration management section in your client, find the V9VPN configuration you imported, run an update and check the result. Disconnecting and reconnecting alone does not update a subscription. If the update fails, first make sure your device can access the user panel. Then check that the pasted content is complete, contains no extra spaces, and belongs to the configuration you’re currently using. If the panel shows a new subscription link, use the one currently displayed there. After a successful update, select a route again so you don’t keep using an outdated configuration. Never include your actual subscription link in a support ticket or public screenshot.
Do I need a new plan when I switch devices, and can I use it on multiple devices at once?
There’s no limit on the number of devices that can be online at the same time. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported. To switch devices, sign in to your existing account on the new device and get the client and subscription for that platform. You don’t need to choose another plan just because you changed devices. Unlimited device use does not mean unlimited data, so choose a plan based on how you actually use your devices. Before retiring, transferring or giving away an old device, sign out and remove any saved subscription configuration to protect your account information. If the new device can’t connect, check the client settings for its platform before assuming you’ve reached a device limit.
Where can I get the client, and how is the iOS process different?
Get the client for Windows, macOS, Android or Linux by signing in to the user panel. For iOS, access is provided according to the terms of the eligible plan shown in the panel. Select the option for your device’s operating system from the panel’s client section, then follow the on-screen instructions. Promotional pages don’t provide direct installer downloads, and you must be signed in to get your subscription. If your device can’t install the client, check the operating system, installation permissions and panel instructions instead of repeatedly downloading files from unknown sources. After installing the client, import your subscription, confirm the configuration and connect. Seeing the app icon alone doesn’t mean an international route is active.
Connections & Troubleshooting
First distinguish between a local network issue, a subscription update problem and app routing. Keep your original configuration and change one variable at a time so you can reproduce the results.
The client says it’s connected, but web pages won’t load. What should I check first?
A connected status only means the client has established a connection; it doesn’t guarantee that every app and website will work. First check whether regular web pages load, then verify the subscription update, selected route and proxy mode. If no pages load, check your local network and the client’s permissions. If only one website fails, check the routing rules, the service’s regional requirements and any account notices. Keep your original configuration and change one setting at a time, testing the same page after each change to identify what made a difference. If the problem persists, provide the error message, device operating system and network type in a support ticket. “It doesn’t work” alone isn’t enough to diagnose the issue.
Why does my browser work through the proxy, but a particular app doesn’t?
Apps can use different network paths, so access in your browser doesn’t mean other apps use the same proxy settings. Check whether app-specific routing is enabled in the client and whether the app is excluded. On desktop, distinguish between the system proxy and the app’s own proxy settings. Some command-line tools and development software need a separate network configuration and won’t automatically use your browser’s settings. You can temporarily test with the client’s global mode to see whether routing rules are the cause, then switch back to the split-routing setup you prefer. Don’t change multiple proxy configurations to fix one app, and don’t use your service account password as an app proxy credential.
How do I troubleshoot disconnections after locking my screen or changing networks?
Locking the screen, sleep mode or a network change can affect the client’s state. First note whether disconnections happen after the same action each time. Then check whether your system restricts background activity, has revoked network permissions, or has another network tool taking over the connection. On Android, check background activity and battery settings. On desktop, check whether the network recovers properly after sleep. After switching networks, wait for your local connection to come back, reconnect in the client and test that pages load. Repeatedly switching routes won’t fix an issue caused by the client being paused in the background. When contacting support, include the steps you took before the disconnection to help distinguish a local system issue from a route problem.
What information should I include in a connection troubleshooting ticket?
Sign in to the user panel and open the support ticket section. Include your device’s operating system, client name, when the problem occurred, your network type, and whether it affects all websites or just one app. Describe the exact error message, what you’ve already tried and what changed afterward. This is more helpful than simply saying you can’t connect. If you attach screenshots, hide your account password, subscription link, access tokens and sensitive payment information. Review logs before sharing them, too. Don’t open multiple tickets for the same issue; add network-switching or route comparison results to the existing ticket instead. For payment-related issues, include what the order page shows, but never share full payment credentials.
Speed & Routes
120+ countries / 210+ routes. Coverage helps you compare route options; actual access also depends on your local network, the target service’s region and account rules.
During peak hours, how can I tell whether to switch routes or check my local network?
Routes across 120+ countries and 210+ lines give you options, but you’ll still need to check how your current network is performing. Pause downloads, cloud sync and other ongoing transfers, then see whether regular web pages are slow too. Compare other routes using the same app and content. If direct connections on your local network are also slow, check your Wi-Fi signal, network sharing and connection from your carrier. If the problem affects only a particular route, try another route currently available in the client. After switching, compare actual loading or playback instead of judging by the region name alone. When contacting support, include when the problem happened, which apps were affected and what you found in your comparisons.
How should I understand and choose between relayed routes, direct connections and IEPL?
Route types describe connection paths, not speed rankings. A direct connection generally takes a more direct path to the exit point. A relayed route sends traffic through an intermediate relay, while IEPL identifies a route associated with a dedicated line. Check the client and user panel for current details on specific paths and availability; a route type doesn’t mean the same resources are available in every region. Start by checking the target service’s regional requirements, then compare connection stability and how your apps perform. A route that works well for browsing may not be suitable for continuous streaming or long-lived connections. If you’re unsure, keep other settings unchanged and compare the options available in your client rather than choosing by name alone.
An AI tool or streaming service says a region isn’t supported. Will switching routes fix it?
Coverage across 120+ countries and 210+ lines doesn’t guarantee access to every service. AI tools and streaming platforms may consider your exit region, account region, payment details, past sign-in environment and their own policies. If you see a region notice, first read the platform’s official guidance, then check the region selected in your client and your actual connection path. If your browser and app use different routing rules, test them separately; the region displayed by the client alone may not tell the whole story. Keeping your setup relatively consistent can make troubleshooting easier, while frequent exit changes can make it harder to identify the cause. A route service can’t replace the target platform’s account eligibility or guarantee that its risk checks won’t flag your activity.
What should I check when testing routes, and how can I avoid making things more confusing?
Test the tasks you actually need to do: whether a web page loads, a video keeps buffering, a file transfers reliably or an AI conversation stops mid-response. Use the same device, network and app, change only one variable—either the route or proxy mode—and record the result. Changing routes, DNS and routing rules all at once makes it difficult to tell which setting caused the change. A brief improvement doesn’t necessarily mean the issue is resolved, so keep monitoring the same task. Route performance depends on your local connection, cross-border path and destination website, so don’t treat one test as a fixed result for every region. If you need help, share steps that someone else can reproduce.
Billing & Refunds
Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date. Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Check which billing model applies when reviewing prices and orders.
How much is a monthly subscription, when does data reset, and how are upgrades calculated?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Choose based on your regular browsing, file transfers and video use. Monthly plan data isn’t unlimited, and reset dates aren’t based on the start of the calendar month. Before upgrading, check your current plan, order details and the information shown in the user panel. If the reset date or upgrade result differs from what you expected, keep the relevant order details and contact support through a ticket instead of repeating the operation and potentially changing the order status.
How much do data packages cost, do they expire, and how do they differ from monthly plans?
Data packages cost ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB and ¥658 for 3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. Unlike monthly plans, which reset data each month on the activation date, data packages use a different billing model. Compare your usage frequency and data needs before choosing. “Never expires” describes the data package policy; it doesn’t mean data is automatically replenished or that the same rule applies to unused monthly plan data. If your account includes different products, check the user panel for their active status and usage order rather than assuming they can be combined or converted. If you have questions about data deductions or an order status, mention the relevant product and what the panel shows in a support ticket.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my order status doesn’t update?
支付宝, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported. Continue payment from the order in your user panel, and check the amount, payment method and instructions shown on the page. After paying, return to the order page to check its status. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the panel hasn’t updated, first confirm that you paid for the correct account and order, then refresh the page. Don’t pay again straight away. In a support ticket, include the order details, payment method and result shown on the payment page. If you provide proof of payment, hide sensitive information first. Don’t transfer funds to payment details from an unverified source or rely on promotional page descriptions instead of the order status. Always verify the payment against the order in your user panel.
How do I request a refund, and what should I have ready?
V9VPN offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the account used for payment, open a support ticket in the user panel and explain that you’re requesting a refund. Include the order details needed to identify the purchase. Read the refund terms before submitting; eligibility is governed by those terms. If you have multiple orders, specify which one the request concerns so it isn’t confused with a connection issue or plan change. Troubleshooting is not a prerequisite for a no-questions-asked refund. You can provide details about any service issues separately if you wish. Check for updates and add information in the original ticket. Don’t share sensitive payment details publicly or assume a specific processing time.
